By using InvoiceFree("we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
InvoiceFree is a free, browser-based invoice generator. No account is required, and invoices are created and rendered entirely in your browser.
Your content and data
The invoices you create and the information you enter belong to you. They are stored only in your browser's local storage (see the Privacy Policy), which means you are responsible for backing them up — clearing your browser data permanently deletes them, and we cannot recover them for you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the invoices you create, including amounts, tax rates, and required fields.
Acceptable use
- Use the service only for lawful purposes.
- Do not create fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading invoices, or invoices impersonating another person or business without authority.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the operation of the service.
No professional advice
The service, its templates, and any default values are provided for convenience only and do not constitute accounting, tax, or legal advice. Invoicing requirements vary by country — it is your responsibility to ensure your invoices comply with the rules that apply to you.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. The service is free of charge; to the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use it.
Intellectual property
The InvoiceFree name, site design, and software are our property. Your invoice content remains yours.
Changes
We may modify or discontinue the service, and update these terms, at any time. The date above reflects the latest revision; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
